Individual Counselling
I take a holistic, client centered approach to counselling. While I work primarily from a cognitive behavioural therapy framework I recognize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. By incorporating CBT techniques with holistic practices, such as mindfulness, self-compassion, and stress reduction, I aim to provide a comprehensive approach to healing that addresses the whole person. This integrative method allows me to tailor treatment plans to each client’s unique needs, fostering sustainable growth and empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives. A variety of other treatment methods and interventions may be used depending on your needs, personality, and preferences.
Couples Counselling
When couples come for counseling, it is recognized that each partnership is unique. I use an adapted version of the Gottman Method. The goal is to create a safe, nurturing space for you to be seen, heard, and valued, so you can reconnect with the love that first drew you together. This method will help build a deeper sense of understanding, increase empathy, and foster greater emotional intimacy. With patience and care, you can unlock your relationship’s unique potential.
